Keep the
cameras
rolling
Zandland makes independent documentaries about the stories that matter: inside Iran, on the frontlines of culture wars, in communities most outlets never reach. Zandlanders fund that work directly.
- The paid Zandland newsletter
- Members-only films and extended cuts
- Early access to new Zandland documentaries
- Behind-the-scenes from the field and the edit
Why it matters
Real journalism is slow and expensive. A single film can mean months of access-building, travel, security and edit. That’s work advertising alone can’t pay for.
Zandlanders give us the independence to follow a story for as long as it takes, and to tell it properly. Every membership goes straight back into the work.

What does my membership pay for?
Reporting trips, fixers, translators, legal checks and the months of editing that go into every Zandland film. Membership lets us choose stories on their importance, not on what an algorithm or a commissioner wants.
How much is it?
£60/year in the UK and $75/year in the US, billed once a year. That’s £5 (or $6.25) a month, with no fees on top.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time from your account page. You keep your membership until the end of the year you’ve paid for, and it simply won’t renew.
How do I sign in?
No passwords. Enter your email and we’ll send you a secure sign-in link.
Is my payment secure?
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details never touch our servers.
